This Week In Micro Fashion...We're Dressed to Impress

...for a family wedding, a ruby anniversary and a christening. We're planning ahead a bit, as the first isn't for a few weeks, but are keen to look smart (and cute, of course!). Luckily, Mothercare's Peter Rabbit collection has lots of gorgeous dresses to pick from and we were lucky enough to take our pick.

As you've probably gathered by now, it's all about traditional dressing for the little ones in our house and we were spoilt for choice; the collection has been put together to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Beatrix Potter.

My first pick was in keeping with my obsession with everything grey and white! This adorable romper dress, which features idyllic prints of Peter Rabbit himself, has the clever addition of an attached romper underneath, making it perfect for keeping your little one snug while the poppers at the gusset ensure changing is easy. I love the frill sleeves and the pleats, which start from the neckline, creating delicate details but still allowing room for your little one to move comfortably.

I couldn't resist this pink and white dress, cardigan and knickers set either. The light cotton fabric is perfect for summer while the additional lining helps create the fullness in the skirt that looks really cute. I really like the cardigan too; it's more of a peachy pink which stops it from being too sugary and the detailing adds to the traditional feel.

If you're heading to any formal events this summer, or just want some lovely pieces for your baby (the range goes up to 12 months) boy or girl, you really should take a look. Go online for the full collection.
P.S. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten our toddler; his outfits are equally gorgeous and will be on the blog soon.
