Top 5 Days Outdoors for SS17

If you're looking for days outdoors with your littles in Sussex, Kent and Surrey, take a scroll through our tried and tested spots. I know some of them seem a little early, but the sun's back out again today so I'm getting excited about spending more time outside with my little family!

Arlington Bluebell Walk is stunning and the chilly weather we've been having means they are still looking pretty lush. You'll need to go soon though as it closes on 14th May. If you do go, check out their farm trail too.

Middle Farm is a firm favourite of ours. It's an open farm which is set up brilliantly for visitors to explore and, even, help feed the animals. Plus the homemade produce in the cafe (and the farm shop) is delicious or you can bring your own food and picnic next to the playground.

Sharnfold Farm is our choice for PYO. The range of produce is varied so make sure you check out their PYO season guide (we're not too far off some of the first goodies).

Penshurst Place is gorgeous all year round, but their maize maze is such fun if you can hold off until the summer holidays. Give them a call before you go and they'll tell you how tall it's grown; when we went last summer it towered over all of us!

Mayfield Lavender has to be seen to be believed. It's definitely one for the summer when the lavender is at it's most stunning and you can even enjoy a pit stop of their pop-up cafe right next to the sea of purple.
